Copyright and DMCA Process
How rights holders can submit a copyright removal notice to APKBang, what evidence is needed, and how a review works.
Copyright principles
APKBang respects the rights of software developers, trademark owners, and copyright holders. If a file, image, text, or link on the site may infringe a right, the rights holder or an authorized agent may submit a clear, verifiable removal notice.
What a notice should include
- The name, organization, and valid contact details of the rights holder or authorized agent.
- A description of the protected work, trademark, or other right, with material showing ownership or authorization.
- The specific APKBang page URL, app package name, version, or file information to locate the reported material.
- A statement that the complainant believes in good faith that the reported use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and that, under penalty of perjury, the complainant is authorized to act for the rights holder.
- An electronic or physical signature of the rights holder or authorized agent.
How to submit a notice
Use the support or ticket feature in the APKBang app and put "Copyright complaint" or "DMCA" in the subject. Do not send only an app name: include the specific URL, package name, version code, and proof of rights. We may need more information before acting on an incomplete notice.
How notices are handled
We review whether the notice identifies the rights holder, work, and reported content. Depending on the material, we may restrict access, temporarily unpublish or remove content, or request further evidence. Information needed for a review may be shared with the content submitter or relevant service provider.
Incorrect notices and review
If a submitter believes that removal resulted from an error or mistaken identification, they may send a counter-notice through the same ticket channel. It should include their identity and valid contact details; the removed material and its former location; a statement under penalty of perjury that removal was due to error or misidentification; consent to jurisdiction and service where applicable; and an electronic or physical signature. We decide whether to restore material under applicable rules and the evidence received.
Repeat infringement and abuse
We may impose further restrictions on confirmed repeat infringing content or accounts. Knowingly false, misleading, or unverifiable complaints may be rejected. Parties should resolve complex disputes through appropriate legal processes.
This page explains how the platform receives and processes notices; it is not legal advice. Submitters should ensure their notices comply with applicable law in their location and relevant jurisdictions.
